Sightseeing in Philadelphia, Visit the Best Historic Attractions in Philadelphia

The National Constitution Center is an ideal stop for those sightseeing in Philadelphia. Featuring over 100 interactive exhibits and historic artifacts on U.S. history from the revolution to today, the Constitution Center is integral to any comprehensive tour of Philadelphia's top attractions, and is only two blocks from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.  The National Constitution Center is a must see stop when checking out historical attractions in Philadelphia.

    America's Most Interactive History Museum

You can visit Philadelphia's historic attractions at several art museums, cultural museums, and historic attractions, but none match the National Constitution Center for interactive, family fun. History comes alive through a live, multimedia, theatre presentation called Freedom Rising, interactive exhibits where you can take the Presidential Oath of Office or decide a Supreme Court Case, and Signers' Hall where you can walk amongst life-sized bronze statues of the 39 signers, including George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and James Madison. School civics lessons were never this fun!

    Tourist Attractions Around Philadelphia

Among other Philadelphia tourist attractions within walking distance of the Constitution Center are Elfreth's Alley, the Betsy Ross House, and the grave site of Ben Franklin. There are also a number of contemporary bars, shops, and restaurants all within blocks of the Constitution Center in the historic Old City district. With so many things to do in Historic Philadelphia, the National Constitution Center and its surrounding attractions are a must-see step on any sightseeing trip to Philadelphia.
